Katt has opened many doors for me, and I‘m very thankful for that. I’ve worked on many record projects with Katt whether it was producing, co-producing, and/or engineering. Here’s how I teamed up with Katt! One of my friends had a CD, and he was working on TI’s music video. Spice 1 was there so he let him hear some of my music. They went crazy over my music and wanted me to do his single. So they came down to my studio to do a song featuring Katt. That’s how I met Katt for the first time. Me of course, not knowing who anyone is in the industry, I was just being myself, going crazy and having fun. I treat everyone the same. It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity or the president because we're all human. If you respect me, I will respect you more. I noticed that Katt had an amazing sense of humor too and we clicked right away. Katt and his crew felt very comfortable being at my studio so they decided to keep coming back, and that’s where it all started I guess. I learned a lot from Katt as a comedian, entertainer, and character, I even used one of his jokes when I performed at the Kodak Theater.
Al Walser is the goodwill ambassador and first bi-racial citizen of Liechtenstein. He was the main radio personality in his country and was in a successful group called the Fun Factory with which he had number one hits in Germany and Japan. He later decided to move to the U.S. in pursuit of his solo career in music. Al Walser’s manager, Sona Oganesyan (www.notrated.com), felt I would be the right person to deliver a hit and introduced us so that I can produce his much needed club banger. I have a full library of premade beats, but I’m also quickly inspired by other creative people so as soon as Al started humming a few melodies, I knew instantly that we had to collaborate and make a song from scratch. It was fun working with Al because we have similar personalities as far as being unconventional and “out there.” Roscoe of the doggpound vibed to the song “Naked” right away at the studio and began writing his verses for the track. After we finished recording “Naked,” I met an accomplished engineer, Rich Niles, while working on Katt Williams’s album and teamed up with Rich once again on Al’s project. It was the perfect team because we all had the same vision and knew how to incorporate our individual talents to make it a hit. The song became an instant favorite and is being pushed as the main single. I am featured in Al’s EPK as the main producer alongside other industry professionals like producer Richie Stites (Michael Jackson, Outkast) and Alonzo Robinson (Senior Director of Live Music ASCAP). The song also generated interest at the red carpet premiere event where Al performed “Naked” live. When they found out that I produced the fan favorite song, I was immediately approached by many industry professionals and received a lot of media coverage along with offers for future projects. Working with this amazing team and being featured in the EPK also opened a new avenue for me to be featured in Al’s upcoming reality TV show.
