Some people say they do it all....

but finally, here is someone who has proven it!!!

Blanko was born a child prodigy. He is the man who does it all! Literally! He is involved in every aspect of the entertainment industry. He is a producer, actor, choreographer, director, writer, and comedian among other things. Yeah Yeah...you probably think it is almost impossible but then again, nothing is impossible. As he notes: “God gave me many talents, I’m just using them.”

Blanko started at a very early age. He began playing percussion at the age of 3 and continued teaching himself to play almost every instrument he could get his hands on. He performed for the first time when he was 5 years old at his school talent show and that’s where he realized his talents and knew that he was gifted. At the age of 11, Blanko started surrounding himself around people who were in the entertainment, production, and music industry. Learning about the ins-and-outs of the industry was not enough; he wanted to get hands on experience, specifically in being in front of the camera and on stage. When Blanko was 16 years old, he studied the art of dance— covering world dances (1996-2000). He received numerous offers to become a professional dancer but had to turn them down because he knew he had a bigger calling.

By being the most admired comedian on the DEMQ show (1998-2003), which was an overnight success, Blanko became a very well known and highly admired celebrity in the Armenian industry worldwide. Realizing his comedic talents and how well people admired and respected his work, he decided to broaden his horizons by dreaming bigger. He has been performing in over 100 plays, shows, commercials and T.V programs ever since. Blanko also got the opportunity to go on tour and perform in Holland, Amsterdam, and in his home country, Armenia, in front of 14,000 people. But that was not enough for this talented personality!

By the age of 18, while working on the DEMQ show, Blanko also began working behind the scenes with Meridian Production. By watching people work, he began picking things up on his own, teaching himself to edit, direct, produce, film, etc. He is currently partnered up with Sevak Petrosian, the CEO of Meridian, and together run the video, audio, lighting, and post production for numerous projects at venues such as Kodak Theater, Gibson Amphitheater, Alex Theater, Wilshire Ebell, etc.

For most people that would be plenty to handle, but not for this driven character. Having a keen ear for music, Blanko burst onto the music production scene in 2004 and still continues expanding his successful production enterprise. Blanko’s exceptional talent, personality, expertise, and successful work ethics has enabled him to produce, manage, and collaborate on a variety of projects with a number of upcoming and established R&B and Hip- Hop artists. Whether it is producing, engineering and/or collaborating, Blanko is credited for working on projects with the likes of Katt Williams (Money Mike), Snoop Dogg, LIL Wayne, Paul Wall, Sugar Free, Mike Jones, Lyfe Jennings (Columbia Records), Da Brat (So So Def), Lady of Rage, Lil John, E-40, Guerilla Black, Spice 1, Roscoe, Al Walser, Bishop, and more. Moreover, Blanko has recently appeared side-by-side with Grammy winning artist Macy Gray on Lifetime’s “Karaoke Superstars,” earning his title as a “legendary Hollywood producer.” The studio has been visited by Jurmain Dupri, Special Ed (103.5 the beat), Deray, Mikey Day, Rick Rock, Red Grant, Divante (JODECI), Ray J, and many others.

We are not done yet! Although he is well known and recognized as a Hip-Hop, Pop, and R&B producer, he is also passionate and dedicated to producing House, Trance, Electro music with his own style and sound that provoke the mind, as the melodic overtones soothe the soul. Growing up listening to a wide variety of cultural music, he knew he was capable of targeting a wide variety of genres. Because of having that cultural background, he successfully manages to juxtapose different genres of sound. He also makes sure to pump out the “club bangers” with no problems. His keen sense of sound selection and his delivery has earned him praise from thousands of fans, critics, and peers. Countless other artists have named Blanko as a direct influence on their music and careers. He is an inspirational producer and artist who sets his own incomparable standards and successfully accomplishes what most believe to be impossible. As he states: “I just shut up and let my work speak for itself.” He his currently working on his debut DANCE album, is in production on a pilot for his own sketch comedy show, and continues directing, producing, editing, and composing for film and TV networks.

Blanko realized at a very young age that he had something special to offer to the world. As he grew older, he was convinced that God has given him many talents for a reason, but sometimes he questions himself: “why me.” As far as realizing talents, until this day he is still learning more and more about his capabilities. He doesn’t believe in the word “Can’t” and believes that no one should either!! He says that “if you are passionate about something and believe in something with your heart and soul there is nothing that can stop you from getting to it....and I mean NOTHING. But there will always be a lot of obstacles in your way, but its up to you to choose whether you want to fight and overcome them, or walk away from your dreams....NOTE TO SELF ‘why do I feel like a shrink right now??”
Benny Blanko is well on his way to stardom and there is no denying what he has and will contribute to the world of entertainment.
